Carriers / Tube (Stick)

Tube (Stick)

ICs stacked in an anti-static plastic stick.

Standard
Machine feeding Yes — automated feeder
Also known as stick, IC tube, anti-static tube

A tube (or stick) holds a row of ICs — typically SOIC, TSSOP, QFP, DIP or connectors — stacked end-to-end in an extruded anti-static channel. Parts keep a fixed orientation and slide out one end under gravity or vibration.

On the machine

Runs on a vibratory / stick feeder that shakes parts to the pick point; slower than tape, but needs no reel.
