Prototype Stencil

A small laser-cut stencil sized to a single board.

A small laser-cut stainless (or polyimide) stencil made for one board, usually ordered alongside a prototype PCB for a few euros. It's enough to hand-print paste for one or a handful of boards. Apertures are often reduced slightly from the pad size to control paste volume on fine-pitch parts.

When to use it

Order it with the PCB; align by hand and pull one clean squeegee stroke.
