Stencils / Frameless (Foil) Stencil
Bare foil used in a reusable tensioning jig or taped down by hand.
A frameless stencil is just the foil, held in a reusable tensioning jig or taped to the bench. It's cheaper and compact — the common choice for prototypes and small batches, and it stores flat. Alignment is manual, so it's slower and less repeatable than a framed stencil.
When to use it
Pair with a reusable jig (or careful masking-tape hinge) for hand printing.
