Holds short cut-tape strips for prototypes and low volume.

A strip (or manual) feeder clamps short lengths of cut tape flat at a fixed pick position. It doesn't auto-advance far, so it suits prototypes and small runs where a full reel isn't warranted.
On the machine
Common on hobby/desktop machines; you reload strips by hand as they run out.
